It is a busy, high-demand department with a wide variety of responsibilities. When your dealership decides to sell parts and accessories online, the game changes​. More orders to process, more phone calls to answer, social media channels to monitor and then there is a website that needs to be maintained. We all know that employees are the key to a successful organization. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:​

  • Process online and counter orders
  • Take telephone orders for parts and accessories
  • Monitor and respond to customer via email, Facebook & Twitter
  • Handle customer communication regarding returns and/or problems with orders. Issue return authorizations and maintain related records. Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist parts manager in maintaining a clean and efficient parts inventory
  • Stock  incoming parts and reconcile parts invoice and actual parts received
  • Cost parts on all repair work and/or parts on repair order where the cost amount is desired
  • Write purchase orders for parts and sublet work needed from other firms
  • Make sure all defective parts on factory claim repair work, that have to be returned to the factory, are turned in by the mechanics and have been properly tagged
  • Manage FedEx and UPS order processing

 

Required Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Posses high attention to detail​
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills​
  • Telephone etiquette
  • Social Media experience (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Digitally savvy with proficiency with Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel and Outlook

 

Required Experience

  • ​Higher degree or advanced education a plus, High School diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 2 years experience working in an equipment/ Vehicle dealership or parts environment​
